I really like this painting, Fr. Ron. Thanks for the posting.
A friend introduced me to the Seven Sorrows eighteen mos. ago. Since then, daily I have prayed the Hail Mary seven times while contemplating each Sorrow . I offer this prayer up for people who have had to bury a child. My prayer list contains over 40 families.
I had begun praying for these families over five years ago. The Seven Sorrows seems appropriate for these families because they have a commonality with Mary.
Read your excellent article and the prayer therein.
I like this painting too, Fr. Ron, Our Lady is with us, and shares our joys and sorrows.
