  1. Congratulations!
May these newly – minted disciples of Christ be empowered by the Holy Spirit with a radical openness and courage of mind and heart to fight against injustice, inequality, and the dehumanization of the lowly people of God.
May you Lead with spirited resolve, Love with joyful abandon, and Learn with profound humility!

Be well. Be Safe. Be Happy, Fr. Ron!

  2. Dear Fr. Ron,

Congratulations and blessings for the newly professed members of Holy Cross! I wanted to comment on your homily, and how deeply moving the story was about the priest who in his sickness tried to pray his office holding the book above his head, and being told to instead “make his illness his prayer”. Thanks for reminding us that God wishes to be so close to us, even accepting our praises in our infirmities too. I carried around in my pocket that prayer by St. John Henry Newman which is so similar to the advice you shared from that wonderful priest, “If I am in sickness, my sickness may serve Him, in perplexity, then my perplexity may serve Him. If I am in sorrow, my sorrow may serve Him. He does nothing in vain, He knows what He is about.” God bless you in all you do, Fr. Ron!
