The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ

Let us pray for Francis, our Pope, and ___, our Bishop. May they celebrate the Eucharist with joy and wonder. May the Eucharist reveal our path to peace and hope upon the earth.

We pray to the Lord.

Let us pray for liturgical musicians, artists, ministers of hospitality, and proclaimers of scripture. May all who serve the banquet tables in our churches be inspired by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

We pray to the Lord.

Let us pray for people around the world who starve for food and the basics of life. May we break the bread of Eucharist with delight and share hope that flows into our world. May we serve others, the Body of Christ on earth.

We pray to the Lord.

Let us pray for blood and organ donors. May all who give their own body for the sake of others find joy in giving, and hope in service to people’s needs.

We pray to the Lord.

Let us pray for a richer appreciation of the Eucharist. May our hearts
receive God’s tender care and compassion in the Breaking of the
Bread. May we truly live faith in our daily lives.

We pray to the Lord.

Let us pray for children enjoying summer vacation. May their imaginations be stirred; their interests and talents be nurtured, and their faith be deepened in play and family time.

We pray to the Lord.

Let us pray for people who survive storms, tornadoes, and severe weather. May we reach out to people to help rebuild homes and futures.

We pray to the Lord.

Let us pray for people who grieve. May all who have lost a loved one in death find hope in the healing Body of Christ.

We pray to the Lord.

Let us pray for all who have died marked with the sign of faith.  May our loved ones who have gone before us find heavenly delight in the presence of Christ Jesus.

We pray to the Lord.

  1. Let us mark our bodies Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This always made me feel special. We were all gathered together as one to Praise and Celebrate Word and Sacrament together with Our God. Our God who made us and Loves us. Our God who wants to be with us Forever.

    Thank you Father Ron.

Blessings to you and all the Priests you care for at Holy Cross House.

I thought how many souls the have baptized into God’s Family. Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
