Tenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

For Francis, our Pope, and ____, our Bishop. May our faith leaders offer our next generation the love of God and our call to witness faith in our world.

We pray to the Lord.

For our beloved poor. May all who live under cardboard or blankets on city streets find true shelter in our concern for people. May our abandoned poor find security of life in our care for them.

We pray to the Lord.

For people who suffer from illness, disease, and disability. May we help people who lean upon us for mobility, healthcare, and help in daily life. May all the sick find healing in Christ Jesus.

We pray to the Lord.

For our children on summer vacation. May our next generation find their true gifts and talents in their times of vacation and rest. May every generation know the richness of their gifts and God’s care for them.

We pray to the Lord.

For our elderly poor. May people who face loneliness and ill health in medical facilities find joy and hope in those who care for them.

We pray to the lord.

For our earthly homes divided by intolerance, violence, and catastrophe. May no household on earth be divided but only unified in love and concern for others.

We pray to the Lord.

For people who have walked away from Christianity. May all people find solace in their life issues and come to know true belonging in Christ Jesus.

We pray to the Lord.

For people who struggle in marriage. May every couple find solid ground upon which to support one another and raise children with acceptance. May spouses learn to listen to the love of Christ Jesus.

We pray to the Lord.

For our friends and relatives who have died. May our loved ones who have gone before us in faith find sheer joy in the presence of Christ Jesus.

We pray to the Lord.
