Thirty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time
For those who show us the way to faith and generosity. May Francis, our Pope, and __, our Bishop, model faith in prayer and in service.
We pray to the Lord.
For a rich desire to serve as Christ teaches us. May our young find joy in self-offering. May we all put down our fears and listen to the needs of the broken-hearted.
We pray to the Lord.
For people facing poverty and extreme loss. May all who seek shelter and food for survival find the protection of Christ Jesus. May God offer hope for the common good.
We pray to the Lord.
For people who tire of life and who live with chronic depression. May we stretch out our hands in support of people who need us. May God comfort those who seek a restful place in life.
We pray to the Lord.
For kindness in our family relationships. May we ease our tensions and strengthen the bonds of family life. May God show us true support and thriving.
We pray to the Lord.
For people who are ill and in need of healthcare. May people find the resources to support their health and wellbeing. May God heal the wounds of disease.
We pray to the Lord.
For a new awareness of our gifts, talents and energies. May we learn to give of ourselves with a new zeal for the betterment of other people. May we find hope in Christ who calls us to serve beyond our expertise.
We pray to the Lord.
For the healing of our planet. May our resources of science and faith show us how to heal our planet for the next generations.
We pray to the Lord.
For our loved ones who have died. May we examine our grief as we pray for our loved ones who now see Jesus Christ face to face.
We pray to the Lord.
