  1. Our baptism makes us both human and divine, just as Jesus was. We are to love and imitate Him by finding our way to all sorts of people who, too, are the Beloved. We are to cultivate relationships inspired by Jesus’s love, compassion, and peace that go beyond our own mind and heart. Our religious faith does not happen by chance but by choice.
