The Fourth Sunday of Lent, Cycle C, March 30, 2025, The Prayers of the Faithful

Fourth Sunday of Lent

March 30, 2025

For all who lead us in faith. May Francis, our Pope, and ___, our Bishop, find joy in their words and actions of faith. May hope be the fire that leads us to Christ Jesus.

We pray to the Lord.

For all who are discouraged by our childhood actions. May the regretful and the obstinate bring reconciliation and forgiveness along the path to adulthood.

We pray to the Lord.

For all who condemn others so to make their lives look better. May we not use words or actions to put other people down. May we not compare one another’s faith or talents.

We pray to the Lord.

For all who seek a better life. May our dreams bring us all to Christ Jesus. May we seek the life God has for us in the richness of our gifts and talents.

We pray to the Lord.

For all families who seek wisdom and strength. May we admire the gifts of our brothers and sisters. May we reflect the love of Christ in our everyday lives.

We pray to the Lord.

For all who shun other family members. May we be awakened to the beauty of life and the richness of family relationships during this Lenten season.

We pray to the Lord.

For hope among members of our parish community this Lent. May we work together toward renewing our lives of baptism at Easter. May our common vision put our prayer into the practice of serving and loving people most in need.

We pray to the Lord.

For all who long for the Father’s embrace. May our broken spirits and tired bodies find the love of God the Father. May our lives discover the healing only God provides.

We pray to the Lord.

For all who have gone before us in faith. May God welcome our loved ones into our eternal home in heaven. May our seek forgiveness and truth.

We pray to the Lord.
