Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time

For Leo, our Pope and ___, our Bishop. May Christ receive the humble prayer of our leaders for the benefit and well-being of all peoples and nations.

We pray to the Lord.

For true and lasting peace in our world. May all nations recognize the dignity of their citizens. May people who ache for justice find true happiness and wellbeing.

We pray to the Lord.

For all people who long to pray. May we surrender to the overwhelming mercy of Christ Jesus. May our hearts become a true home for God’s tender compassion.

We pray to the Lord.

For people surviving mental anguish. May all who suffer mental illness find healthcare and professional treatment. May God cherish the humble and heal those who live with anxiety and inner violence.

We pray to the Lord.

For children struggling to find meaning and purpose. May our youth find a life of inner peace and a source of hope. May we model true courage from the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We pray to the Lord.

For married couples struggling to find money and resources for survival. May God provide for couples unable to care for children. May Christ Jesus inspire love in their relationship and offer peace to all families.

We pray to the Lord.

For people of ill-health. May our relatives facing disease and heartache find hope in their prayer. May God heal the humble and the weary.

We pray to the Lord.

For all people who grieve. May those who pray for comfort from loss find in Christ Jesus the goodness of life. May our grief become an entry into God’s compassion and tenderness.

We pray to the Lord.

For our beloved dead. May God welcome our loved ones into the glory of heaven. May we find peace and inner hope on earth.

We pray to the Lord.
