Hi, and happy Third Sunday of Lent! When I hear this gospel, I always picture Fr. Lauc’s “Woman at the Well” sculpture there on the South Quad at ND! Thanks for a great reflection, you opened my understanding to the needs of the woman, having gone through 5 husbands. Her condition is one of hunger and thirst for meaningful relationships and community in her life, something we can all relate to, and how Jesus can provide that refreshment which comes from within, and that we in turn can share with others! Thank you Ron for sharing your deep understanding of the scriptures.
