For all faith leaders. May they seek Christ in their hearts and live with vulnerability in service to all people.

We pray to the Lord.

For all who find their lives saddened by threats of violence. May we find peace and stability by living in Christ Jesus. May John the Baptist model such wisdom in our lives.

We pray to the Lord.

For all abandoned and unwanted children. May life be treasured and nurtured in love and protection. May our children not be harmed upon the earth.

We pray to the Lord.

For courage in our prayer. May we find the voice of Jesus Christ rising with love within our own hearts. May faith be lived unreservedly.

We pray to the Lord.

For all who wait in morning’s light for healing. May anxiety ease in daylight and courage be our way of life. May we point only to God as we use our gifts to serve others.

We pray to the Lord.

For all who find their lives in silent deserts of sin and fragility. May hope be born in us. May love be our guide from every desolate place within us.

We pray to the Lord.

For all who lack courage to become the person they are made to be. May John the Baptist model for us the courage to sustain God’s grace within our lives. May we walk through deserts of doubt to know God’s love for us.

We pray to the Lord.

For all who died in the silence of regret and doubt. May hope be on the lips of our loved ones who take their final breath. May God welcome all to heaven’s delight.

For Leo, our Pope, successor of Saint Peter. May God offer him every grace as he serves the mission of the Church.

We pray to the Lord.

For all missionaries. May we spread the gospel with joy and mercy. May the Word of God become food for all to hear and accept.

For all Christians who are persecuted because of their faith. May hope be the result of faith and courage be in the hearts of all who live in Christ.
We pray to the Lord.

For true witness of Christian life and values. May we live in the center of Christ’s love and faithfulness. May courage prevail in our hearts and hope be born from our lips.

We pray to the Lord.

For all who gather at Eucharist in our Sunday assemblies. May the mission of the Church be made known at all Eucharistic celebrations. May every Christian find the depths of faithfulness in the Breaking of the Bread.

We pray to the Lord.

For all who live in nursing homes or who are cared for by hospice caretakers. May those who suffer in body and mind find consolation in God’s fidelity and compassion.

For all who are making life transitions this summer. May all who are changing careers or schools or who are celebrating life commitments know the healing love of Christ Jesus. May they follow Christ into new ways of life.

For all who inspire others in faith and love. May every believer know their place in the Church to help change hatred into peace and violence into hope.

For all who have died. May God receive our loved ones into their heavenly home. May hope be on our lips as we learn to grieve our losses.

For people who are hurting in life. May those who face abuse, and anguish find consolation and joy in the Heart of Jesus Christ.

For people who have been overwhelmed by unkindness. May the downtrodden find rest on earth. May our fragile relationships heal in the love of Christ.

We pray to the Lord.

For us who are in physical and emotional pain. May Christ embrace us and call us his own. May the brokenhearted find consolation and tenderness.

We pray to the Lord.

For travelers and pilgrims in these summer weeks. May Christ lead us to lands of solace and peace. May we be awakened by our journeys to live more closely in the Heart of Christ.

For families that vacation in summer. May Christ lead families into great love and trust. May hope and joy live among people we love.

For all who hunger for community and support.  May we all find healing in the Breaking of the Bread. May we live Christ’s healing love among the fragile and broken.

For all who have turned their hunger into brash words or hatred. May we feed on Christ Jesus to heal our hearts and live for others. May hope be broken and shared.

For all who celebrated Eucharist for the first time this spring. May Easter joy continue as we come to the banquet feast of Word and Sacrament.

For all who have walked away from sobriety or healing. May we rejoice in the life God prepares for us. May we live in confidence beyond addiction and compulsion.

For our children who struggle to find meaning and integrity. May the Eucharist reveal our true home in God’s fidelity.

For all who grieve the loss of a loved one. May the Eucharist nourish our hope in eternal life. May the dead rest assuredly in the Kingdom of Heaven.

For a full measure of peace in our time. May God’s love for humanity become known in every nation and peoples. May we receive every good God offers the world.

For all who are imprisoned. May we free those who are confined by threats and fear. May hope be the key that frees us from isolation.

We pray to the Lord.

For all who receive the healing gift of the sacraments. May courage prevail at our altars and mercy be the food that sustains us in the world. May love be the work in the Trinity.

For our children who rejuvenate in summer.  May our youth find relaxation and inspiration for their future. May play unite our families and joy become rich nourishment.

We pray to the Lord.

For all who live in the miracle of the Trinity. May all the baptized unite in harmony through the gift of God. May we work diligently to unite all followers of Jesus Christ.

For all who live in abusive violence. May our children who have been stifled by mental anguish find consolation and peace.  May we all work for healing and healthy relationships.

For hope in dire circumstances. May the Holy Spirit bring light to all hardship and discouragement. May grace come to those burdened by life and worry.

For people lost in jobs that do not fit their skills and abilities. May hope be in the search for rightful employment. May we discover our true gifts in the Holy Spirit.

For our abandoned poor. May the Holy Spirit open new opportunities to people who live outside. May God’s peace bring families to shelter and healthy living.

For all who rely on others for the basics of life. May the Holy Spirit open new doors for people searching for education and healthcare. May hope live in every household.
