For people who cringe at the suffering of life. May we face our internal struggles with faith. May Christ heal our angst and restlessness.

We pray to the Lord.

For our families in this Holy Week. May we model Christ’s passion, death and resurrection in daily life. May the Paschal Mystery bring us freedom and joy.

We pray to the Lord.

For people suffering body pain in this Holy Week. May Christ ease the burdens brought by aging, ill health and lack of insurance. May Christ heal us along the path to hope.

We pray to the Lord.

For all prisoners and people confined to doubt, fear and anguish. May Christ ease the restlessness of people who ache for freedom.

We pray to the Lord.

For our beloved dead. May Holy Week rouse hope for all who grieve. May our loved ones now find joy in the face of Christ Jesus.
