“Portrait Project” article from The Portland Tribune

Every December we host the “Portrait Project” in our parish community. Professional photographers create portraits for our guests, parishioners and volunteers. These photos for our daily guests are often the only link to family and friends. We even provide Christmas cards, envelopes and stamps to give folks the opportunity to send a photo to a loved one. Jason Kaplan, a local professional photographer hosts the event at the parish.

This year the Portland Tribune, a local newspaper focused on our project. The front page article appeared in Thursdays edition. Here is a link to the wonderful article.  The article was written by Jennifer Anderson and the photos for the article were taken by Christopher Onstott.

Also, here is my photo from the “Portrait Project”
