Jesus said to them, ” A prophet is not without honor except in his native place and among his own kin and in his own house.” (Gospel for the Fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time)

(I painted this piece this morning in our studio at the parish. I am learning how to paint with a knife.)

  1. Ron – i would like a print of this…or a copy. i am very serious…would you consider painting another and naming your price?

  2. Dear Ron,
I am also very moved by this one! I agree with the above comments, if you do make prints, please include me! I’m sure Fr. Mark would have a steady stream of puns, knowing that you painted this with a knife! It’s excellent! 🙂 I feel the darkness of Christ’s body hanging there on the cross, but all around him is light, like the love of the Father surrounding him!
