Pope Francis designates Missionaries of Mercy

Rev. Joseph Corpora, CSC will be mandated by Pope Francis as a Missionary of Mercy on Ash Wednesday. CLICK HERE for more details.

Fr. Joe is a classmate and we were members of our first novitiate class in Cascade in 1978. He professed his first vows in Cascade in 1980. He will preach at Sacred Heart Church on June 11-12, 2016.

Please pray for the 800 priests from around the world who will be commissioned by Pope Francis this week.

    Oh thank you so much for posting this news about Fr. Joe Corpora! I dropped him an email to congratulate him! Just seeing Joe’s picture made me smile, with many shared memories from our formation years. Happy Ash Wednesday, Ron…once again begins our Lenten Journey! 🙂
