First Profession of Vows in The Congregation of Holy Cross 2021

Yesterday at Sacred Heart Church in Colorado Springs, five men professed vows in the Congregation of Holy Cross. They spent this past year in our Holy Cross Novitiate in Cascade, Colorado. The newly professed will now return to Notre Dame for graduate school.

  1. Beautiful, uplifting ceremony. I was able to be around these young men on several occasions.
    They will be fantastic Priests. Thanks be to God.

  2. The entire liturgy was so rich with beauty and power. Perhaps the most powerful witness (at least what most moved me) was the Fatherly and brotherly love that was evident among the Holy Cross members. We need this witness of true and healthy masculine tenderness in our society: it is a great witness to the Life and Love of God among us. I’m grateful to have witnessed this, and grateful for these young men who respond with their commitment and surrender to Divine Love today.
