Easter Sunday of the Resurrection, Mass during the Day, Cycle A

Let us pray to relish in our baptismal lives this Easter morning. May Christ’s passion, death, and resurrection, flood the Church with hope and enthusiasm.

We pray to the Lord.

Let us pray to run toward new life this Easter. May we live the miracles of love, forgiveness, and peace, as we learn to accept the wonder of Christ’s empty tomb.

We pray to the Lord.

Let us pray for lasting and essential peace among all nations. May Easter bring new hope in times of war, violence, and corruption.

We pray to the Lord.

Let us pray for people who live in doubt and worry. May we all have the courage to peer into the mystery of the empty tomb with our ancestors in faith. May hope open new doors for us.

We pray to the Lord.

Let us pray for the newly baptized. May our adults who celebrated their second birth last evening find joy and peace in the Resurrection of Christ Jesus.

We pray to the Lord.

Let us pray for our children who will receive Easter Sacraments. May those who will receive Eucharist for the first time recognize the gift of God’s eternal love and kindness.

We pray to the Lord.

Let us pray for our family members who are ill and those who live in nursing facilities. May the lonely be filled with Easter love and blessing.

We pray to the Lord.

Let us pray for those whose grief remains raw and penetrating. May Easter console those who carry the burdens of loss. May every heart be freed on this Easter.

We pray to the Lord.

Let us pray for our loved ones who have died since last Easter. May our beloved dead find a new home in the eternal embrace of Christ.

We pray to the Lord.
