Dear Fr. Ron,
Hi, and happy 4th Sunday of Advent! Thanks for another moving reflection, “with God, all things are possible”. Over the years, like you observed, we can have the feeling that “we have seen it all”, but I learned early on, and my realization had deepened, that Mary is “a type of the Church”, and her “yes” holds the promise of our faith in Jesus. My appreciation has grown, and as you said, we can find Jesus in a lowly stable, or today, under a cardboard box shivering in the cold. Thanks for always refocusing us on what really matters…loving Jesus wherever we find him. Merry Christmas!
Thank you for allowing God to use you to remind us of hope. We so desperately need the light it brings in our lives. May today be filled with hope-filled “Yes” to God!
