Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time
For courage in our faith. May Francis, our Pope, and ___, our Bishop be given hope in their ministries of compassion.
We pray to the Lord.
For seeds of justice upon the earth. May integrity sprout from reconciliation tables. May wars melt in the summer sun. May hope bloom for survivors of conflict.
We pray to the Lord.
For new seeds of reconciliation. May love and acceptance spring up amid family conflict and unrest. May hope flourish in every relationship.
We pray to the Lord.
For children growing up in shelters or on the streets. May seeds of hope sprout for the well-being of young people. May we offer children opportunities of education, belonging and the acceptance they need.
We pray to the Lord.
For people facing summer transitions. For children enrolling in new schools or families moving to a new city. May they find Jesus Christ in the center of change.
We pray to the Lord.
For people discouraged by violence, political polarity, unneeded aggression or viciousness. May hope be a seed of love to the wearied. May we grow in the richness of God’s mercy.
We pray to the Lord.
For bravery amid our faith. May we walk by faith and not by sight. May we grow in trust in our daily lives, surrendering to the power of Christ Jesus.
We pray to the Lord.
For people disabled by ill-health or mental decline. May our aging family members know the truth about their health and surrender to the Holy Spirit for consolation.
We pray to the Lord.
For our beloved dead. May our sisters and brothers find love on earth as they learn to let go of relationships. May they live in peace for all eternity in heaven.
We pray to the Lord.
I pray that I find a love that makes me a softer person, a love that takes me to a level of spiritual passion that neither comfort, convenience, nor easiness of standing can put out, and a Divine love that pushes me to create myself in His Likeness.
Be Well! Be Safe! Be Happy, Fr. Ron!
