Dear Fr. Ron,
Good morning and thanks for your reflections. I loved your emphasis that “God is on our side”, not in a self righteous sense but in the circumstances of our humility and “ground of our being”. I’m reminded of a comment that I heard Fr. Charlie Sheedy make, when he commented on a religious order whose slogan was, “through our 24 hour prayer vigils, we never leave the throne of God.” Charlie then reflected and said “but GOD left the throne of God”! Thanks, Ron, for keeping us all grounded in the love of Jesus!
Love is God’s gift to us. It rebuilds, restores, and reclaims the spiritual chain that breaks because of our smallnesses and incapacities. It is the One Love that amazingly redeems us and makes us more like Him. Be Well. Be Safe. Be Happy, Fr. Ron!
