Dear Fr. Ron,
Thank you so much for your excellent reflections, Mary always is a “type” of the whole Church, and our model and mentor for understanding and “being with” those who suffer, and she stands with us in our own sufferings. That image of your mom holding your head while you were ill brought back similar memories of my own childhood. We were certainly blessed with parents who provided a Christ-like example! I am still meditating on Fr. Andre’s death and praying for his peaceful transition to the next life with God. Again, I so appreciate sharing remotely in his funeral liturgy.
