Isaiah

We forget the love God has for us.

We forget that we are called into life and that we are pure gift.

We forget our worth, our voice and our purpose.

Even though a mother may forget her child, God never forgets or abandons us.

We are born for union and communion.

Psalm 62

We languish and fidget and long to rest.

We live with anxiety and fret in our unbelief.

When we rest in God alone, our hearts find home.

When we rest in only love, the direction of life becomes known.

When we rest in only love, God uses us for right purpose and hope for others.

Matthew 6: 24-34

God will not forget us.

We can rest in God and find comfort and healing.

Our worry stirs us into unrest.

Our worry strips our ability to find solace in God.

Our worry tosses our hearts about like a rudderless ship.

Our worry creates more chaos within us and in our relationships.

We live under our own power when worry becomes our god.

Set your heart on the Kingdom of God.

This is real prayer.

This prayer is the hope of God for us.

This prayer is all we need.

This prayer transforms us in our selfishness and insecurities.

This is the daily prayer for the follower of Christ.

We shall find our home in the Kingdom of God beginning here on earth.
