Do we recognize Jesus when He comes to our life poses the challenge to acknowledge the presence of Jesus in all of creation. When we do, we can walk through life, not downcast, but exhilarated in the peace and love of the Risen Christ.
The Eucharist has fed me thru many years of my life. I grew up in a rural area. We had church once a month and the days when you were not allowed food or drink from midnight until after you received. Our Mass was late morning and we were not able to receive very often. When I went into nursing school and was able to go every day I did. I have done that most of my life after that. The Body and Blood of Christ has been the most important thing of my being.
I teach the young children to receive their First Eucharist. I pray that they know the Love it brings to them.
