    Hi, and thanks again for your spiritual insights into the act of forgiveness. I was glad to hear you re-tell the story about your suggestion soon after 9/11 that the proper course might involve forgiving the hijackers. As you observed, it was perhaps too soon to consider this option, but it’s no less relevant now. We have seen the politics of revenge dialed up so high by the current administration, so totally against the teachings of Jesus. We are still paying the price today for not listening to Jesus’ words after 9/11, instead, even against the wishes of the victims families, their loved ones deaths were used in the propaganda to gin up hatred and eventually resulted in two wars. And with the Iraq war, it seems we as a country still have not learned this lesson. Thank you for your reflections and your ministry! God bless you always.
